Great! Fill it with nutritious\, non-perishable food items (think healthy\, with minimal added sugar\, salt\, or unhealthy fats) and leave it on your porch by 9 AM on Saturday\, September 21. Our volunteers will swing by to collect it!\nDidn’t get a Donation Food Bag this year? No worries! You can still drop off non-perishable food items at your nearest Save-On-Foods on Thursday\, September 19\, or directly at the Central Okanagan Food Bank (Kelowna or West Kelowna) anytime we’re open.\n\nAnother Way to Help: Monetary Donations\nMonetary donations are a powerful way to support the Food Bank. By pooling donations\, we can purchase items in bulk through our strong partnerships with local stores—allowing us to stretch every dollar further. In fact\, for every $1 donated\, we can provide $3 worth of food to those in need! \nWith the holiday season just around the corner\, your financial support is especially important. DESCRIPTION:The Hungry Hungry Half is back for its 9th annual event on Saturday May 25\, 2024! There will be a 5 km\, 10 km\, 21 km\, and 1 km kids race available. This will be a timed event\, and all participants will receive a medal. In the past eight years\, this event has raised over $50\,000 for the Central Okanagan Food Bank! \nRegistration is open until May 17\, 2024 \nRace Kit Pickup\nBib pick up will occur on Race Day beginning at 6:45 am. We ask that you do not arrive more than 30 minutes prior to your event’s start time to ensure that all participants have time to receive their bibs.
